Yesterday, Jan 8th 2008, I drove by a house that was on fire on Front Street. This was not a vacant house – there where people living in it. Why are there so many house fires in North Camden?

During the winter, I one factor might be heating of the house. I was just in someone’s house and the oven was wide open heating the entire house.
Also, smoking–so much smoking.

In the winter, homeless people and drug users are using abandon houses to hangout or live in them. They get heat by using metal trash cans with paper or sticks. This is one of the causes of fires.
